Mix-n-Stain antibody labeling kits are a revolutionary antibody labeling technology that allows you to label your antibody with biotin or one of our superior CF dyes in 30 minutes without a purification step. The labeling procedure tolerates many common buffer components and antibody stabilizers. Choose from kit sizes to label 5-20 ug, 20-50 ug, or 50-100 ug of your antibody. For more information and guidelines for selecting a kit size, please download the Mix-n-Stain flyer and the product information sheet for this product.
This kit is for labeling an antibody with near-infrared fluorescent CF750. CF750 is brighter than other spectrally similar dyes. Most importantly, antibody conjugates prepared from CF750 have by far the best signal-to-noise ratio than antibody conjugates prepared from other spectrally similar dyes.
Note: We have successfully detected indirect immunofluorescence staining with CF750 secondary antibodies by flow cytometry in the APC-Cy7 channel. However, because the excitation wavelength for this channel is sub-optimal for CF750, direct immunofluorescence staining using primary antibodies labeled with CF750 generally results in very low signal. Therefore, we don’t recommend using CF750 labeled primary antibodies for this application.
